Smallville is dumb [sci-fi]

Smallville’s writers “revealed” at Comic-Con that in the upcoming 17th season (seriously, the show has lasted that long) Clark Kent will finally embrace his destiny. Now, I don’t follow Smallville, but… don’t they say that about the show every season?
