Jack Bauer is off the clock [24]
24 always skips over big chunks of time between seasons, and in keeping with tradition the upcoming seventh season will be set four years after the sixth.
But here’s where it gets weird: the first “day” was set in 2001 when Jack Bauer was 35, but if you add all the time-skips that’ve happened since then together it means the seventh day will technically be set in 2017, making Jack 52… even though Keifer Sutherland is just 41, and he won’t wear any make-up to age him.
“Jack Bauer is ageless,” said a Fox spokesman, which I guess is passes for an explanation around here.
